    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantly detect abnormal action of a balancer weight caused by the vibration of a car and to reduce the service stop such as stoppage by inputting the behavior of the balancer weight detected by a vibration detecting means into a controller and by adding control sequence for issuing the appropriate driving command. SOLUTION: A detecting means may be installed anywhere in a machine system in a balancer weight side but should be installed in a fixing part with a building structure, namely, a pulley fixing girder 220 and a rope end fixing girder 221. It is so constituted that a hydraulic elevator pressurizes hydraulic fluid stored in an oil tank 107 by a hydraulic pump 103 driven by a motor 104 and the fluid is fed to a hydraulic cylinder 101 via a control valve 102 and a pipe so that a hydraulic plunger 113 raising/lowering the car 106 is driven. The hydraulic elevator with a balancer weight is provided with a balancer weight 203 supporting the load in the hydraulic plunger 113. A vibration detector 211 is provided in the end of a rope 211 of the balancer weight 203 so as to detect either of its displacement, the acceleration, or the tensile force. The vibration level is judged by the abnormal response of the balancer weight 203 and the signal of the detector 211.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for an elevator improved in certainty of emergency stop operation by improving detection accuracy of a governor device.
      SOLUTION: This safety device for an elevator comprises the governor device 7 arranged in an elevator car 1 and having a governor roller 6 capable of rotating, abutting on a guide rail 5A, and brake devices 10A and 10B for stopping the elevator car 1 for emergency when the governor device 7 detects over-speed of the elevator car 1. This safety device also comprises a counter roll mechanism 26 arranged in the elevator car 1 and having a counter roller 25 capable of rotating, abutting on a guide rail 4B, a swing support mechanism 27 for supporting the governor device 7 and the counter roller mechanism 26 possible to swing relative to the elevator car 1, and a tension bar 28 connected between a governor roller 6 and the counter roller 25 so as to give pushing force of the governor roller 6 to the guide rail 5A and for giving pushing force of the counter roller 25 to the guide rail 5B.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make up a safe and low-cost position correcting system capable of quickly opening an elevator door after landing of a cage and quickly starting after the elevator door is closed in cooporation with speed control, when correcting the position of the cage at the time when passengers get on and off the cage, in relation of sinking or floating up of the cage. SOLUTION: In a hydraulic elevator, aside from a check valve provided between a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic cylinder, a normally closed solenoid selector valve is provided parallel to the check valve. When a cage permitting the passengers to get on and off, is started after travelling, control of a motor for driving the hydraulic pump is continued by a position correcting device, and thus a state where the dead weight of the cage is balanced with output of the motor for driving the hydraulic pump, is kept to maintain the position of the cage. In response to the deviation of the position of the cage at the time when passengers get on and off the cage from a reference position of the cage, the pump flow rate supplied to or discharged from the hydraulic cylinder is controlled through the solenoid selector valve.

SOLUTION: For a fluid pressure elevator, the flow rate of operating fluid supplied or discharged from a fluid pressure pump 212 via a check valve 210 to a fluid pressure cylinder 20 is controlled to control the speed of the fluid pressure cylinder 201 for controlling the speed of a passenger cage 200. An electromagnetic switch valve 201 is provided in parallel to the check valve 210, which is controlled to be normally open and closed when the passenger cage is stopped. A cage position correcting means 11 controls the flow rate supplied or discharged via the electromagnetic switch valve 211 to the fluid pressure cylinder 201 to be open in accordance with a deviation between the reference position of the passenger cage set for the passenger cage to be stopped and the position of the cage, when passengers get in and out, with the flow rate of the fluid pressure pump 212 controlled and corrects the position of the passenger cage 200.
