    • PURPOSE:To prevent degradation of reliability due to abnormality of power supply or the like by writing an integrated covered distance, which is operated on a basis of covered distance information, in a non-volatile memory within a prescribed rewrite voltage impression time and displaying it simultaneously and reading it from the memory. CONSTITUTION:The number of pulses from a pulse generating part 1 of a wheel of a vehicle is counted by a counter part 2, and a running signal 2a is generated at intervals of a prescribed covered distance, and the integrated covered distance is operated in a microcomputer 3 and is displayed on a display part 6. Meanwhile, a data rewrite voltage 8a is impressed from a rewrite voltage generating part 8 to a non-volatile memory 7 by a control signal 9a which is generated from a timer part 9, which detects the signal 2a, for a certain time, and integrated covered distance data is written from the computer 3 to the memory 7 during this application time, and data in the memory 7 is read out by the computer and is written in an RAM5 when a power source is turned on again, and thus, disappearance of data for abnormality of power supply is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To realize highly efficient traction by determining the slip of each driving wheel based on an output from a vehicle speed detector and a number of revolution of a wheel to be driven through a plurality of motors and then controlling the torque and the rotational speed of motor according to thus determined slip. CONSTITUTION:A battery 7 drives a pair of driving motors 6 (only a left side motor is shown) thus rotating a driving wheel 5 through a gear 11. A vehicle speed Vs detected through a vehicle speed detector 2 and rotational speeds V1, V2 of the motor 6 detected through a rotational speed detector 3 are fed to a controller 4. Furthermore, steering amount of a steering wheel 13 detected through a steering force detector 9 in a steering unit 10 and a stepping amount of an accelerator 8 are fed to the controller 4. When the rotational speeds of the motor 6 is excessive as compared with the vehicle speed Vs, the controller makes a decision of slip or idling and lowers the current of motor thus lowering the rotational speed thereof. According to the constitution, a highly efficient traction is realized even upon abrupt change of pavement or at a curved part.
