SOLUTION: In this motor position controller, the mechanical play during initialization is corrected. 1. The mechanical play is corrected for the detected fully closed position and the fully opened position for use in normal control. 2. After a stopper is pressed against fully closed and fully opened positions, the motor is run idle for a prescribed time to cancel its elastically returned positional change.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect even the shortcircuiting state of a sensor by limiting to a small current value at the time of normal sensor, and limiting to a large current vale if it arrives at the current value near the short-circuiting state. SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 1 varies the resistance value in response to an acceleration so that a resistance value is several in a steady state and can detects the presence or absence of the acceleration when the acceleration becomes a predetermined value or more so that the resistance value becomes 0. In this case, heretofore, since the A-D converted value alters like that the resistance of the sensor 1 becomes small when a power source voltage drops, V is employed as a power source 2, and a current limiter 3 which operates as a constant current source is provided. A controller 3 limits to a small current value at the time of normal sensor and limits to a large current value in the case of near short-circuiting state or the case that the voltage to the sensor 1 becomes low. A sensor voltage detector 4 fetches the voltage to the sensor 1, A-D converts it by an A-D converter 5, and outputs it to a microcomputer. Thus, the short-circuiting state of the sensor 1 can be detected.

    • PURPOSE:To enable an automobile to continue its operation safely under a normal engine performance by making a steady action of an electrical equipment possible at all times even if the battery voltage rises beyond the rated voltage. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner electromagnetic clutch 201, an electromagnetic solenoid 211 for idle control, a fuel pump 221, and the like are duty controlled by generating, by means of CPU 12, a rectangle wave signal 18A, which duty ratio drops as the battery voltage rises from the rated value, and by taking the original control signals 20A to 22A and an AND through AND gate circuits 20 to 22. Thus an effective value of the electric current flowing to the air conditioner electromagnetic clutch 201, the electromagnetic solenoid 211 for idle controlling, the fuel pump 221 and the like becomes the same as the current value of the rated voltage, even if the battery voltage rises, whereby electrical equipment can be prevented from being damaged or causing malfunction due to voltage rising and also it is easily performed to cope with the high-voltaging of the system.
