摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor required for changing the set value of every computer against the change of a system configuration in a system which consists of plural computers having different processing contents according to each place of installation. SOLUTION: An optical sensor 602 is moved from B section 611 to D section 613 in a distributed processing system consisting of plural intelligent devices (optical sensors 601, 602 and 604 and processing machine 603) which are connected together via a network 600. Thus, the sensor 602 transmits a retrieval message including an identifier that is set to show the section 611 via the network 600. Then the sensors 604 of the same type area detected in the section 613 and the setting parameters etc., are acquired from the sensors 604. The sensors 604 carry out the processing in cooperation with each other in the same section.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee a serial number order and to improve the reliability of transmission by performing delivery after performing, keeping in a temporary keeping queue when it is not an order to be delivered next in the case of performing the reception processing of a multiplex message and delivering it to a transmission destination program in the order of the serial number. SOLUTION: When a multiplex message transmission request has been originated from the program 11 of a transmission origin, the transmission part 14 of a processor 10 retrieves an address table 17, obtains the address of the processor 30 and prepares a message. The message is transmitted from communication adapters 20 and 21, through communication media 1 and 2 and the communication adapters 40 and 41 to the reception part 35 of the processor 30. The processor 30 receives the multiplex message, performs the reception processing by using a serial number management table 38 and a time-out processing part 36 and delivers it to a program 32 of a transmission destination in the order o the arrival. In this case, when the serial number of the received massage is not in the order to be delivered next, the received message is kept in the temporary keeping queue 39 and then 15 delivered to the program 32 of the transmission destination.

Besides, at the nodes 2a and 2b to be managed, the state monitor is periodically executed according to an instruction from the managing station 1 and when the state exceeds a defined threshold value or gets different from the last monitored value, such a state is reported to the managing station 1 by using the TRAP. Thus, countermeasures are speedily taken.
