SOLUTION: When a multiplex message transmission request has been originated from the program 11 of a transmission origin, the transmission part 14 of a processor 10 retrieves an address table 17, obtains the address of the processor 30 and prepares a message. The message is transmitted from communication adapters 20 and 21, through communication media 1 and 2 and the communication adapters 40 and 41 to the reception part 35 of the processor 30. The processor 30 receives the multiplex message, performs the reception processing by using a serial number management table 38 and a time-out processing part 36 and delivers it to a program 32 of a transmission destination in the order o the arrival. In this case, when the serial number of the received massage is not in the order to be delivered next, the received message is kept in the temporary keeping queue 39 and then 15 delivered to the program 32 of the transmission destination.
