    • PURPOSE:To activate an adsorbent and improve the adsorption performance by connecting a conduit means guiding the hot air around an exhaust pipe to the air inlet of a canister in a control device having the canister absorbing the adsorbed evaporation fuel into an engine. CONSTITUTION:An adsorbent 2 is filled in the canister main body 1 of a canister 3, the top section of the canister main body 1 is connected to a fuel tank 5 via a fuel pipe 4 and to an intake tube 8 via an intake pipe 6 respectively. An air inlet 11 is provided at the bottom section of the canister main body 1. In this case, a guide pipe 13 with a gas escape hole 12 is connected around the air inlet 11, a flexible hot air purge hose 15 with one end 15A opened on the periphery of an exhaust pipe 14 is connected to the guide pipe 13. When the evaporation fuel adsorbed to the canister 3 is absorbed to an engine 7, the hot air around the exhaust pipe 14 is guided into the canister 3 to activate the adsorbent 2, and the working capacity of the canister 3 is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To make air flow characteristics linear ones to improve controllability by aligning the direction of resultant force acting on two measuring valves forming valve bodies with the direction of electromagnetic force of a solenoid by pressure difference between a plurality of vent chambers. CONSTITUTION:Vent chambers 13, 15 communicate to an exhaust pipe 16 connected to an intake manifold, and a vent chamber 14 communicates to an intake pipe 12 connected to an air cleaner. Since the vent chambers 13, 15 are connected to the intake manifold side, they are subjected to high negative pressure so that forces act respectively on a measuring valve 6 leftward and on a measuring valve 7 rightward. Force of negative pressure acts on a vlave body 2 generally leftward according to the difference between the sectional areas of seat portions of measuring valves 6, 7. When a coil 3 is energized, electromagnetic force act leftward on the valves 6, 7 so that the valves 6, 7 begin to open. In the beginning of opening the valves force caused by negative pressure acts in the direction of opening the valves so that the valves smoothly open to improve the air flow characteristics into satisfactory linear ones.

    • PURPOSE:To mix ejection fuel and air evenly and improve distribution performance by providing a mixing chamber, between the position where fuel supply valve opens to the suction path and the position where many suction branch pipes gather together, whose cross section area is larger than the sum of the cross section areas of these pipe paths. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the operation of engine 1, signals, Tw, etc., showing the amount of air flowing in air passage 9, or the condition of the engine are taken into control unit 11, and the signal corresponding to the amount of fuel to be supplied to engine 1 is given to ejection valve 10. Fuel is ejected from ejection valve 10 corresponding to the drive signal from unit 11. In this case, in the condition where the amount of suction air is small with respect to the degrees of opening of throttle valves 6a, 6b, the speed of air flow is small and the atomization of fuel is unstaisfactory. For this reason, mixing chamber 2, whose passage capacity is locally enlarged, is provided on the lower stream side of throttle chamber 5 in suction multi-branch pipe 3. By this, the speed of suction air flow is rapidly decreased and fuel drops are atmomized, and thereby fuel and air are mixed evenly.
