Further, the ratio ¦Z (d2)/Z (d1)¦ of tertiary term magnetic field components in the Z-axis direc tion at the positions d1, d2 is made substantially equal to the ratio ¦Z (d2)/Z (d1)¦ of quinary term magnetic field components in the Z-axis direction at the positions d2, d1 and further made equal to the ampere turn ratio I1N1/I2N2(I is a current and N is a number of turns) with a pair of the first and second coils.     • PURPOSE:To make it possible to generate a magnetic field having a highly uniform degree, by arranging a correction coil at a position, where the high uniformity of a magnetic field can be realized, with respect to the field coil of a medical nuclear magnetic resonance tomographic apparatus. CONSTITUTION:(a) is the inner radius of a field coil 1 and two-dimensional coordinates of each point are displayed as distances in the radius direction and the axial direction when the center position of the field coil 2 was set to the origin. Correction coils 2, 3 correct the spacial variation in the static magnetic field due to the field coil 1 of the electromagnet for a nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus. By placing the cross-sectional center position O' of the coil conductors of the correction coils 2, 3 within the cross-sectional region R formed by connecting a point P1(a, 1.66a), a point P2(1.07a, 1.76a), a point P3(1.10a, 2.13a), a point P4(1.07a, 2.45a), a point P5(a, 2.55a), a point P6(a, 2.32a), a point P7(1.04a, 2.24a), a point P8(1.06a, 2.04a), a point P9(1.04a, 1.84a) and a point P10(a, 1.75a), a magnetic field having a highly uniform degree can be generated.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a runner from being damaged by a method wherein a damping material is stuck on to the outer periphery of the runner to curb the vibration in the axial direction and thereby reduce a vibration stress concentrating on the part of joint of a blade in a pump wheel and a turbine. CONSTITUTION:In the runner of a turbine having a large capacity and rotating at a high speed, a crown 1 and a shrouded ring 3 strongly vibrate in the axial direction by hydraulic pulsations, whereby the vibration stress occurs intensively in the part of joint of a blade 2. This vibration is damped by a damping material 54 stuck on to the outer periphery of the crown 1 and the shrouded ring 3, thereby the occuring vibration stress being reduced. As the damping material 54, synthetic resin or the stuff made beforehand of viscous and elastic materials is used, the former being molded into the objective place, while the latter being laminated in one or several layers thereon by sticking. In this way, a turbine runner bearable to high head and high speed can be obtained without a substantial change in the form of the exisiting machines.
