CONSTITUTION:An outer peripheral guide 3 constituting the outer diameter of an impeller from the outlet end of vanes 1 and vanes 1 are press molded in one body from a sheet of plate to form vanes with an outer peripheral guide, then outer peripheral guides 3 of vanes 1 are connected to each other to be combined in a predetermined jig, and the outer diameter side of vanes 1 is fixed correctly. Under this state, both side plates 4, 5 are coupled in conformance with the outer peripheral guide 3, and are welded to vanes 1 to form a steel plate impeller of a pump. According to this constitution, the precision for the centering of both side plates 4, 5 of the steel plate impeller and for the positioning of the tip of vanes 1 is improved, the assembly and welding work and can be simplified, and the pump performance can be improved.

CONSTITUTION:A thrust bearing device A consists of a thrust runner receiver 16 which is fixed to a rotary shaft 1, a thrust runner 17, a thrust stopper 18 which is slidable with respect to the thrust runner 17, a bearing seat 19 which is inclinedly engaged with an end bracket 5 and which inclinedly holds the thrust stopper 18, and an elastic body 20 which is engaged with the receiving face 19b of the bearing body 19 and which presses the thrust stopper 18 to the thrust runner 17. As a result, when the direction of thrust load is changed from the bearing seat 19 side to the thrust runner receiver 16 side, the sliding faces of the thrust runner 17 and the thrust stopper 18 can be kept in contact or in parallel due to the action of the elastic body 20.

    • PURPOSE:To improve various characteristics in a low relative speed centrifugal pump by a method wherein the configuration of a vane is determined so that there is a part, in which the diameter of an inscribed circle is inreasing, from the outlet to the inlet of a flow path, when the circle being inscribed with neighboring vanes is described in the flow path. CONSTITUTION:The flow path 12, extending spirally from the inside of the impeller to the outside thereof, is constituted by each other of the vanes 10 provided on the impeller 4. The configuration of the flow path 12 is determined so that the width f of the flow path at the after rim 13 of the vane is small and the width f is being increased toward the inside of the impeller, in order to make a load distribution at the before rim 11 side of the vane larger and the same at the after rim 13 side of the vane smaller. The bending configuration of the vane is determined so as to increase the diameters of the inscribed circles B1-B3 in the order of B1 B2 B3 when the inscribed circles B1-B3 are described within the neighboring vanes 10, therefore, the load distribution at the before end rim 11 of the vane becomes larger.
