CONSTITUTION:A free bearing 2 is fitted in a relative shape to the nut receiving base 1 having a V type notching shape, a suspender 3 for suspending the nut receiving base 1 is provided and after setting a grooved nut 10 to the nut receiv ing base 1, the base 1 is pulled up by operating a free balancer 4. Then, a center guide 5 is fitted into a nut groove 11, a core bar 8 is inserted into the center hole 16 of a bolt 12 and the nut 10 is composed as to screw in by pushing in. Thus, the friction of a screw part becomes min. because of the nut load being not applied on the bolt, also the contact resistance with the base 1 becomes min. by the free bearing 2, so the heavy nut of large diameter can easily be screwed into the bolt.

    • PURPOSE:To raise a degree of accuracy in centering adjustment, by lowering the push-up force of a condenser supporting spring in time of turbine installation on a spring frame, and converting this force into an increment portion of water load on a condenser in time of operation, thereby performing a centering job. CONSTITUTION:A deck 6 is mounted on a pillar 7 via a spring 8, while turbines 1 and 2 and a generator 3 are installed on this deck. A condenser 4 is supported by a spring 9. These turbines are instaled in the following processes that first, frame pillars are set up, springs are set and locked, and concrete placing of the deck 6 takes place, then the turbine generator is installed there. Next, condenser water load equivalent to that in an operating load is imposed on each frame with the spring 9 adjusted, and afterward, the frame spring 8 is released and adjusted properly, thus coupling centering adjustment takes place.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the durablity by applying the surface hardening treatment on a contact surface of a connecting member being contacted with the other member, in a device in which adjacent turbine moving blades are mutually con- nected via a pair of connecting member which cooperate with canopy top members provided on each moving blade. CONSTITUTION:The canopy top members 6a, 7a are provided on the surfaces of each opposite sides of the turbine moving blades 1, 2, and the moving blade connecting members 8, 9 are provided between the top ends of the each moving blades 1, 2. The pins 10, 11 which are formed on the upper surface of each connecting member 8, 9 are fitted into and fastened to the through holes 12, 13 of the each canopy top members 6a, 7b. Said connecting members 8, 9 ristrict untwining by contacting, at contacting surfaces 14-17, with the blade surfaces of said moving blades 1, 2. At this time, such surface hardening treatments 21- 28 as welding ejection or padding with hard alloy, shot-peening, etc. are performed on the contacting surfaces 14-20 of the connecting members 8, 9. Thereby, the fretting corrosion of said surfaces 14-20 is prevented.
