    • PURPOSE:To secure an accurate fuel injection quantity, when a plurality of injection holes are formed in an injection nozzle part, by forming (N-1) injection holes out of total N injection holes, and by forming the last N-th injection hole on the basis of the measured result of injection quantity through these (N-1) holes. CONSTITUTION:A work piece 31 to be worked as the nozzle part of a fuel injection valve is fed from a work piece supply part 1 to a high-speed laser beam machine 2, where (N-1) injection holes out of total N injection holes 32 are worked with a relatively rough accuracy. Next, the work piece 31 is fed to a fluid flow rate measuring apparatus 3, and after the fluid flow rate discharged from (N-1) injection holes 32 has been actually measured, it is fed to a precision laser beam machine 4. And in a computer 6, the actually measured fluid flow rate is subtracted from the required total fluid flow rate to calculate the required fluid flow rate for the N-th injection hole 32, and also to calculate the hole diameter of the injection hole 32 to be worked, and then based on this hole diameter, the N-th injection hole 32 is accurately worked via a NC unit 7.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method relating to a fuel injection valve, to the fuel injection valve used for supplying ignition fuel to an internal combustion engine of an automobile and to its manufacturing method, which easily and surely forms a tip shape of a movable valve easy for maintenance of shape accuracy and a desired tip valve element portion.
      SOLUTION: The invention is the fuel injection valve which comprises a nozzle equipped with a fuel injection hole and with a valve seat of a concaved conical shape, and the movable valve equipped with a movable iron core on one side and with a valve element portion of an almost spherical surface for seating in the seat on another side, in which the movable valve is slid with attraction generated by electromagnetic force and controls an injection amount from the fuel injection hole. The valve element portion comprises a main valve element portion 3a and the tip valve element portion 3c, the tip valve element portion is situated downstream of a contact portion of a valve seat section and its tip is formed in a rounded, convexed conical tip shape. This can facilitate accuracy maintenance of the tip shape of the valve element portion and improve productivity at the time of mass production.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the block of a grinding wheel and increase a machining efficiency by using the grinding wheel whose bond layer for sticking the grain to a grinding wheel mother material is a conductive material, applying a voltage between the bond layer and a work and discharging during the honing of the work and removing the chip existing between both by an electrolysis operation. SOLUTION: At the honing time of a work 35 by using a grinding wheel 30, when the number of boring (grinding amount) is increased, the chip begins to block between the whetstone grains and a grinding resistance begins to increase. This grinding resistance is detected by a motive power sensor 24 provided on a chuck 21 as a load applied to the chuck 21 and the detection signal is sent to a controller 26. When the grinding resistance value by the motive power sensor 34 reaches a pre-determined value, an indication is given to a discharge voltage impression circuit 25 and a discharge phenomenon is generated between the bond layer of the grinding wheel 30 and ground surface and the chips between the whetstone 30 grains are removed by the electrolysis operation. Thereby, the block of the grinding wheel 30 is dissolved and the machining efficiency can be increased.

Do is smaller than the dia. of most shrinking part of fuel flowing inside the hole 7 and the ratio is 1/50. It is thus possible to uniformly measure the injection amount with the dia. Do on the fuel flow side of hole 7.
