CONSTITUTION:The printing range of document data stored in a RAM 108 and displayed on a display 105 is specified and stored through a keyboard 101 and the form or printing range of the specified document data is changed by specification from the keyboard 101 and the number of printable characters is displayed on the display 105. The rotational frequency of a rotated carriage motor 120 is stored in a RAM 115 based upon an instruction through the keyboard 101, and after printing, the carriage motor 120 is returned up to the stored position. When repeated printing is set up, a cursor is moved to document data next to the printing range of the stored document data.

Then, the pattern data controlled hierarchically can be deleted easily by using effectively the hierarchical relation. Thus, the data can be deleted while keeping the left hierarchical relation, and the improvement of the operability and the improvement of the function can be attained.

CONSTITUTION:A data input area designating means displays the picture data on a regular form inputted from a picture input device 2-2 and designates and fixes the positions to print the characters (character strings) contained in the picture data on a keyboard 2-1 with use of a cursor control key or a mouse, etc. A means which registers the position information and the length of a fixed data input area calculates the coordinates of the fixed position based on the reference point of the picture data. When the position coordinates and the area length are decided, a business form is searched at and after its head part and stored into the position information items and area length items for uninputted business forms. These series of processes are carried out to each data input item. As a result, the characters can be printed at the desired positions of a regular form document with high efficiency and high accuracy.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the arrangement of formats for a series of calculating formulas consisting of plural numerical formulas by allocating evenly the numerical formulas at the fixed intervals with use of a means which designates the spaces and the direction for even allocation of the numerical formulas supplied to the optional positions. CONSTITUTION:When plural numerical formulas are evenly allocated at desired positions respectively, the subject numerical formulas are designated by a subject designating means. Then the allocating spaces are supplied by the ten keys. Thus a circumscribed rectangle is calculated from the maximum and minimum values of each numerical formula and the even allocating directions (vertical and horizontal) are selected through the matrix display. When the allocating direction is decided, the numerical formulas are successively allocated in the size of the circumscribed rectangle in the order of designation and arranged again with addition of spaces based on a reference numerical formula. These rearranged numerical formulas are displayed in the half luminance based on the result of calculation. These displayed numerical formulas are moved to each desired position via a cursor and the input of a fixed key is performed at each desired position. Thus the numerical formulas are evenly allocated.
