CONSTITUTION:Information indicating the position relation of a character being changeable at every character is stored as a character attribute in a storage device 120, and the position of the character is determined by allowing it to be in coincidence. The superscript/subscript characters are expressed by changing the information for showing the position relation. That is, as for the position relation of the character, an initial value is set as the attribute of the character in an input device 110, stored in the storage device 120, and a display device 130 which receives it determines the position of the character, based on position information and executes a display. The position information is changed by changing the upper character attribute in the storage device 120. In such a manner, the superscript/subscript characters can be produced without adding an exclusive font.

And the endpoint of the arc is decided by depressing the execution key, and displaying arc, ellipse, and marker are erased, and the elliptic circular arc connecting the start point and the endpoint is displayed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphic editing device which can carry out its work with a single graphic form and in a single operation by preparing a paint-out means which divides a graphic form into a designated number of plane patterns and paints out the graphic form in a selected plane pattern. SOLUTION: This device consists of an input device 110 which inputs and edits the graphic forms, a storage 120 which stores the data on every end point of graphic forms, etc., a graphic data display device 130 and a controller 140 which controls those said devices 110 to 130. A plane pattern selection means 141 of the controller 140 stores plural plane patterns that are selected by the device 110 and also the number of these patterns in the storage 120. Then a division/paint-out means 142 decides a paint-out range and a paint-out plane pattern based on the plane patterns and the number of them stored in the storage 120 and also on the stored graphic data and shows them on the device 130. In such a constitution, a graphic form which is painted out in an optional plane pattern and in an optional order is obtained from a single graphic form and in a single operation.
