摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a PTC heater unit appropriated for floor heating at a low price by installing plural PTC heaters, which are provided in a hollow radiator with a space, so as to pressure-contact with a main heat radiating surface of a radiator through a heat-resistant electricity insulating material. CONSTITUTION:A hollow radiator 2 made of the material having a high heat conductivity such as aluminum has a cross section having a recessed part 6 so as to form a clearance at a part of a main radiating surface 5 neat just over PTC heaters 1A, 1B. The PTC heater 1 is made to directly pressure-contact the radiating surface 5 by a spring material 8 or through heat-resistant electricity insulating materials 3, 4 having a small heat resistance such as silicon rubber or, furthermore, through a heat diffusing material. Continuous molding of a radiator 2 is thereby facilitated, and since both ends of the hollow part, which includes the heater 1, are air-tightly sealed by a cover 9 to prevent the intrusion of dust, the structure applicable to the under floor atmosphere can be obtained, and the distribution of temperature in the final radiating surface such as the surface of the floor material can be evened.

摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress rush current by a PTC thermistor without using external circuits or elements by setting the operation point of the PTC element in an ohmic area of voltage-current characteristics at the supply voltage. CONSTITUTION:The operation point of a PTC element 1 is set outside of the constant power area of voltage-current characteristics. When a supply voltage is Va, a PTC element 1 is to be the outside of the constant voltage area, namely the ohmic area. The PTC element 1 provided with an electrode layer 2 is fixed by electrode plates 5 from both sides, PTC elements 1 are arranged at prescribed intervals by a case 3 formed of an insulating material such as ceramic, insulating/heat resistant resin, etc., and the PTC element 1 is mounted in a metal pipe 4 to form a heater unit. Thus, rush current is reduced by the extremely simple structure without using external circuits and elements.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the finish of food to be detected always with high accuracy and to control heating operation by installing a control circuit for observing a signal from a heat-sensitive element which is located at a position exposed to exhaust gas from the exhaust opening of oven and cold air from the air duct in an exhaust air passage. CONSTITUTION:Food 5 is put in an oven 2 and high-frequency heating is started. Simultaneously, a fan 10 operates to start air feed. Part of air, whose direction is changed by a guide 11, is supplied to an exhaust air passage 8 through an air duct 12. The temperature of a heat-sensitive element 9 is kept at the temperature of cold air flowing into the exhaust air passage 8. When heating proceeds, water vapor is generated from the food 5 and condenses on the surface of the heat-sensitive element 9. Then, heat of condensation is supplied to the heat-sensitive element 9 to increase the temperature of the heat-sensitive element 9. The condensed water evaporates immediately, absorbing the heat of evaporation from the heat- sensitive element 9; therefore, the temperature of heat-sensitive element is decreased. This change in temperature is converted into the change in voltage, which is inputted into a microcomputer 14. The microcomputer observes the width of voltage change. When a specified width of change DELTA V is observed, the microcomputer outputs a signal to a control circuit 15. The control circuit 15 which receives the signal stops the operation of a magnetron 3.

摘要： PURPOSE:To effect a secondary radiation of infra-red ray through a wide area of a porous metallic plate by a method wherein a ceiling part in a heating chamber is provided with a radiation heat generating chamber partitioned by the porous metallic plate and a specific ceramic tube heater is fixed within the radiation heat generating chamber. CONSTITUTION:A ceiling part within a heating chamber 1 for storing food therein is provided with a radiation heat generating chamber 3 partitioned by a porous metallic plate 6. A hot air generating chamber 2 and a radiation heat generating chamber 3 are separated from the heating chamber 1 by porous metallic plates 5 and 6 for use in shielding any microwave. Both front and rear surfaces of the porous metallic plates 5 and 6 and an inner wall of the heating chamber 1 are covered by oxidization catalyst. A ceramic heater 7 fixed in the radiation heat generating chamber 3 is made such that a heater coil 71 is inserted into a tube 72. As the ceramic tube 72, a heat- resistant ceramic material is used and it is heated at a surface temperature of about 80 deg.C to 850 deg.C and used. The ceramic heater 7 is used by making substance with a coefficient of thermal expansion alpha=1.5 X 10 / deg.C or lower in order to improve an anti-heat shock into one which is baked to one having a moisture supplying rate of 3.6% or less.

Thermo-contraction due to heating with current feed to the heater wire 2 generates movement in such a direction that the inter-heater pitch on the film unit 6 is going to narrow. Thereby the adhesive layer 8 and thermo- contractive layer 9 are heated uniformly, thermo-contracted, and put in tight contact uniformly with a pipe to be secured, etc.
