    • PURPOSE:To select automatically the operation expression corresponding to the line mode of a line to be measured and the number of channels to be used, and to indicate the efficiency of the line correctly, by setting the mode and the number. CONSTITUTION:Each power measured in at least three single-phase power measuring part is converted into a digital signal in an A/D converting part. The ratio (efficiency) of the primary side power and secondary side power of the measured line connected to the object to be measured is operated to be indicated in a wattmeter by a CPU on the basis of their digital signals. In the wattmeter, the CPU selects, to operate the efficiency operation, the expression of W2/W1 (W2 is the secondary side power, W1 is the primary side power), and indicates the efficiency of the measured line, if the line is of single-phase two-wire. If the line is of single-phase three-wire or three-phase three-wire, the CPU selects, to operate the efficiency operation, the expression of W3/(W1+W2) (W3 is the secondary side power, W1, W2 are the primary side powers), and indicates the efficiency of the measured line.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement device, capable of improving the precision of a built-in clock. SOLUTION: The measurement device 1 comprises an analog-to-digital converter 3 for analog-digital conversion of a commercial AC to generate voltage data DV, a real-time clock circuit 22 for generating clock data DT, and clock- correcting parts 24, 11, 12, 13 for extracting a synchronous signal SSY synchronous with the cycle of the commercial AC from either the commercial AC or the voltage data DV, generating a clock data correcting signal ST, when measuring a preset number of extracted synchronous signals SSY and correcting the clock DT for the real clock circuit 22, according to the clock data correcting signal ST. After the extraction and measurement of the synchronous signal SSY, the clock-correcting parts stop at least one processing of extraction and measurement for the synchronous signal SSY and resume the stopped processing at the time, when a shorter stand-by time than the cycle of the commercial AC passed.
