    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the reduction of a room space, to omit or reduce an exclusive member for forming an air duct, to reduce the weight of a rolling stock, and rationalize its manufacture by providing the air duct of the structure of the railway rolling stock. SOLUTION: In a railway rolling stock 10, a room space is plotted by laying a lining plate 14 on the inner surface side of a structure 12 and a fluorescent lamp 18 is attached to the side wall part of the recessed part of a room ceiling. An air duct 24 for fresh air is formed in the structure 12 and thereby a protruding quantity into the room side is limited. An air duct forming member 32 is extended in the back and forth directions of the rolling stock 10 while its both side end parts are fixed to the structure 12 and a floor 26 and an air duct 34 for exhaustion from the structure 12 to the outside is formed between the inner surface side of the structure 12 and the upper surface side of the floor 26. Further, an air duct 36 for exhaustion into the structure close to and communicated with the air duct 34 is formed so as to be extended into the structure 12. Wind is caused to flow mainly through the structure inner side exhaustion air duct 36 in the structure 12 and the amount of wind equivalent to the shortage of wind occurring because of use of only the structure inside exhaustion air duct 36 is caused to flow through the air duct 34 for exhaustion from the structure 12 to the outside.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad vehicle capable of reducing the draft feeling at passenger's feet and quickly improving comfort (ADPI) by changing the set temperature a little. SOLUTION: In this railroad vehicle 1, conditioned air blown from a first under-seat supply opening 8 provided in right and left side surfaces 7a of a footrest 7 is sucked into a ceiling suction opening 10, rising from under a cross seat 4. An air flow blown out of the right and left sides of the footrest 7 and sucked in the ceiling 9 is formed inside a cabin. Such an air flow reduces the draft feeling at passenger's feet and near knees of the passenger.
