    • PURPOSE:To obtain luminosity several times those of conventional colorlight signals while preventing false signals from appearing due to reflection of sunlight by installing a reflecting plate on the back side of a signal lamp, and also providing a liquid crystal panel in such a manner as covering the outer surface of color glass, the liquid crystal panel having the property of being changed from opaque to transparent state at the application of a voltage. CONSTITUTION:In a railway colorlight signal equipped with a socket 3 having a signal lamp 2 detachably mounted in a lighting fitting main body 1 and color glass 4 attached to the opening of the lighting fitting main body 1, a reflecting plate 5 is installed behind the signal lamp 2 and also a liquid crystal panel 6 is mounted on the front side of the color glass 4 and the front of the panel 6 is covered with transparent glass 7. As the liquid crystal panel 6, such one is used which is usually opaque like ground glass because of irregularly arranged liquid crystal molecules in a capsule which form a liquid crystal sheet 5a but which becomes transparent as the liquid crystal molecules are aligned in one direction at the application of a voltage between conductive films 8, 8. Electricity is transmitted to the liquid crystal panel 6 simultaneously with lighting of the signal lamp 2 and signals are produced by coloring of the color glass 4.

    • PURPOSE:To extend a life with no core break by providing a light emitting unit built in a lamp device of each R, and selecting color of a light emitting element to red, yellow and green color in each light emitting unit. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 3 of mounting LEDs 2 in a circular hollow case 1, opened with the front surface, is stored to be set up. Each LED 2 is connected in series or in parallel to a power supply wire, but when all the LEDs 2 are divided into at least two sets or more to connect each set in parallel to the power supply wire, temporarily when broken a core in one LED, all the LEDs of the set containing the core broken LED are disabled from emitting light, but since the LED of the other set can be lighted, the situation of inability to display a signal can be avoided. By building a green color light emitting unit 9a in an upper step lamp device 5a, yellow color light emitting unit 9b in an intermediate step lamp device 5b and a red color light emitting unit 9c in a lower step lamp device 5c, of a signal, the three-display multicolor lamp signal is constituted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground unit for training capable of installing the ground unit to a regular position without requiring measurement work at a job site. SOLUTION: The ground unit for training has a combination of a ground unit body 1 and a caul 2. The ground unit, a regular outer shell which is molded into the shape of ground unit for installing in a rail of a main line, has a resonator inside for resonating with a frequency necessary to perform an ATS function. The caul 2 is held by the ground unit body 1 and the end of the caul 2 is touched to the side surface of the rail R1 to adjust the setting position of the ground unit body at a constant distance away from the center of a gage between rails. The caul 2 is slidably supported by the ground unit body 1 and it is pulled out at a constant length from the ground unit body when used. The caul is drawn and stored in a range of the length of the ground unit body 1 when not used.
