Therefore, a hard disk device mounted on the HDD holder 76 by rotating the handle 74 is moved in a insertion and discharge direction resisting to attraction force by the magnetic field generated by a permanent magnet. rotation force may be generated by a motor.

SOLUTION: This spindle motor 22 is provided with a center shaft 15 fixed to a housing base 11a. A core body 32 supporting a coil 33 of a stator 24 is cantilevered by a ring member. The coil 33 is fixed to the housing base 11a by adhesive 41. Consequently, the motion of the cantilevered core body 33 and the coil 33 is restricted, and the vibration of the stator 24 is suppressed at the time of rotation of a rotor 23. Therefore, the vibration of the spindle motor 22 is reduced as much as possible.

摘要： PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for positioning and to enhance positioning accuracy as well by constituting a head arm out of plural arm parts and reducing vibration of the actuator by making natural frequencies of the individual arm parts different from each other. CONSTITUTION: The head arm 26 for supporting a magnetic head 29 is provided on a shaft 25 to be tunable across tracks of a magnetic disk 23. On the head arm 26, two arm parts are formed via a hole 26a, and at least one dimension of one arm part out of its width, thickness and length is set to be different from that of the other arm part. By this method, even when the natural frequencies of the individual head parts are different from each other and one head arm part is resonated, the other head arm part is not resonated, so that vibration of the whole actuator 24 is reduced, and the time required for positioning is shortened, and moreover, the positioning accuracy is enhanced as well.
