    • PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation in capability of a lubricant layer of a magnmetic disk and sticking of a magnetic disk by absorbing moisture by a water-absorbing resin in the case of a high humidity to prevent dew condensation and supplying moisture from a humidifying vessel in the case of a low humidity to prevent the dry state. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a high humidity, a water-absorbing resin 17 in a vessel 16 absorbs moisture through perforations 15 to prevent dew condensation. Since the water-absorbing resin 17 absorbs moisture to swell, a cover 18 is pushed up to turn a lever 19 counterclockwise, and a small hole 13 of a humidifying vessel 11 is closed by a valve 20 to prevent the flow of steam from the vessel 11. In the case of a low humidity, the water-absorbing resin 17 discharges steam through perforations 15 and is contracted, and therefore, the cover 18 falls to turn the lever 19 clockwise, and the valve 20 opens the small hole 13 of the humidifying vessel 11, and moisture is sent from the humidifying vessel 11 into a device to adjust the humidity. Thus, the degradation in the capability of the lubricant layer of the magnetic disk and sticking of the magnetic head are prevented.
