      SOLUTION: The storage controller has a plurality of transferring buffers and involves: conducting single processing to the single disk under a normal mode; switching the single processing to parallel processing for a plurality of disks under the condition of time monitoring when the disk has a malfunction; and responding to the host without delay even when the disk has the malfunction.
