    • PURPOSE:To attain the miniaturization of a device by transmitting the larger logical value of a signal out of the logical values of a transmitting signal corresponding to the logical value with the smaller power consumption of an interface circuit and decreasing the power consumption of the interface circuit. CONSTITUTION:A deciding device 1 decides which is larger in number 0 or 1 out of the logical values of a transmitting signal. An instructing device 2, when the logical value on behalf of the larger power consumption needed to transmit a logical value 0 or 1 with a pair of drivers and a receiver circuit based on the decision of the device 1 is larger, instructs the inversion of the transmitting signal to a first inverting device 3. Together with it, the inversion of the transmitting signal is instructed to a second inverting device 4. Thus, the logical value of the majority signal is always converted and transmitted to the logical value with the smaller power consumption of the driver and the receiver circuit. Consequently, the power consumption of the interface circuit can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To cope with the abnormality of the power source in an input/output device without interrupting the work in a main control part by turning off the power source and a reset signal to report this abnormality to the main control part if this abnormality occurs. CONSTITUTION:If an abnormality occurs in an operating power supply means 120 which supplies the operating power to the input/output device of a system, an abnormality detecting means 111 detects the abnormality to output a power source abnormality signal 141, a reset signal turn-off instruction 142, and a power source turn-off instruction 143. A power source turning-off means 121 receives the power source turn-off instruction 143 to break the power supply from the operating power supply means 120, and a reset signal turning-off means 131 receives the reset signal turn-off indication 142 to break a reset signal 144 from the input/output device, and a transmitting means 147 transmits a power source abnormality signal 141 to the main control side. The abnormality detecting means 111 detects the abnormality of the operating power supply means 120 to transmit the power source abnormality signal to the main control part, and the main control part receives the power source abnormality signal to recover the abnormality.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the forgery and the alteration of a vote ticket, by changing the write level in every raw of the vote ticket and reading data in every line only within the range of a corresponding write level. CONSTITUTION:For currents i1-i6 flowed to write heads 21-26 of channels 1-6, resistances R1-R6 and R'1-R'6 are so determined that read outputs are distinctly different from one another. Currents i1-i6 are flowed to heads 21-26 in one direction or the opposite direction to write data in magnetic write parts 81-86 of a vote ticket 4. When write parts 81-86 where data is written in this manner are moved on read heads 31-36 corresponding to respective channels, output voltages of amplifiers 41-46 become V1-V6. In respect to slice levels SL1-SL7 of comparator 51-56 and 51'-56', the level SL1 is made lower than the voltage V1, and the level SL7 is made higher than the voltage V6, and levels SL2-SL6 are determined between voltages V1-V6 respectively. That is, the output is issued from each channel only for a write current suitable for this channel. Thus, the alteration and forgery of the vote ticket 4 are very difficult.

    • PURPOSE:To lighten the burden of a person in charge of refundment processing, and to use an inexpensive voting ticket, by providing a counterfeit checking head for reading a pre-print information printed on the reverse side of a voting ticket such as a pari-mutuel ticket, etc., on the pre-stage of a voting information read part. CONSTITUTION:A voting ticket 20 inserted from an inlet guide 1 of a voting ticket refundment device is shifted by a carrier roller 14, passes through a shutter 5 which is opened by a command of a higher rank device, and is sent to a counterfeit checking magnetic head 6. The head 6 reads magnetically a character position, a pitch between characters, etc. of a pre-print information 22 printed on the reverse side of the voting ticket 20, and in case said contents are normal, a read command signal is applied to the read part in order to make the read part of the next stage effective. In the read part, a voting information 21 printed on the surface of the voting ticket 20 is read by an image sensor 10 through an optical lens 9. The read result is sent out to the higher rank device and is processed. In this way, whether the voting ticket is proper or improper is discriminated and the refundment work is processed efficiently.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the setting of a medium for a method of either optical type suction or light end detection type suction by reading a mark for indicating suction level attached to the medium in a medium setting device for printer or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a medium 23 for optical type suction is used, upon the insertion of the medium, a mark sensor 10 reads a mark attached thereto and the output signal drives an optical line setting control circuit 19. A carrier control circuit 22 is connected via a switch circuit 21 and the suction of the medium 23 is started. When a line sensor 12 faces the printed portion on the medium, the medium 23 is sucked by the distance of the line sensor 12 and the printing head 16 and set at the printing position. When the end detection type section is used, because no mark is on the medium 23, the end detection setting control circuit 20 is driven. Upon the detection of the end of the medium 23 with an end sensor 13, a circuit 22 is driven according to the computed values of the circuit 20 so that the given position of the medium 23 is made to be opposed to the printing head 16.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a positional accuracy by detecting a phase difference from a reference value of pulse signals for plotting a position received by a main station and a sub-station, and carrying out a phase difference compensation at the time of high input of high frequency signal to each receiving station and averaging of reaching time. SOLUTION: A moving station 1 transmits a pulse signal for positional plotting, and a main station 2 and a plurality of sub-stations 3 measure the arriving time of pulse signals in order. The main station 2 draws a hyperbola by use of the time difference between the average reaching time measured by itself and the average reaching time obtained from each sub-station 3 and plots the position of the moving station 1 from the crossing position. A phase difference detection means 22 detects a phase difference from a standard value of pulse signal for positional plotting, and a temp. sensor 23 measures an ambient temp., then relevant data to an input level of a receiving system 21 and the phase difference are stored in a storing means 24. A phase compensating means 25a corrects the phase data detected based on the phase difference data read out from the storing means 24, according to a temp. and an input level from the temp sensor 23 at the time of receiving the pulse signal for positional plotting, and phase data after the correction are output.
