摘要： PURPOSE: To omit the inputting job by supplying bonds with specific numbers sequentially based on the number of received bonds, reading the type and the specific number of each bond, storing them corresponding to an identification code of a customer and delivering sequentially the bonds whose processing is finished. CONSTITUTION: An inputting means 11 inputs a customer identification code and the number of delivered bonds, and plural bonds stacked each having a bond type and a specific number printed thereon are delivered sequentially from a carrying means 13, and an optical character read means 14 reads the type and specific number of each bond. Then, the type and specific number of the bond read by the means 14 are stored in a storage means 21 while being made to correspond to the customer identification code from the means 11 and the bonds whose reading of type and specific number is finished are sent out from the means 14.

CONSTITUTION:A character reading means 1 reads the amount of magnetic variation on a medium, and a peak detecting means 2 detects an increase in the variation amount from the read data, and detects the maximum value to detect a peak. A saturation area detecting means 3 detects the read data from the character reading means 1 with the output being saturated after the increase in the variation amount from the read data from the character reading means 1, and a peak positon setting means 4 sets the intermediate point of the saturation area as the peak position. Then, a character recognizing means 5 recognizes the read character from the unsaturated peak position detected by the peak detecting means 2 and the peak positions set by the peak position setting means 4.

Accordingly, the medium which does not execute magnetic recording and is discharged without contacting with the head 16 since there is no output from the detecting circuit 13, so that the medium is prevented from damage caused by friction, etc.
