    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligner for master disk capable of correcting a pit position highly precisely at a low cost by narrowing a measurement range for the deflection correction of an exposure beam. SOLUTION: The output Δtp of a phase comparator 31 is given to a loop filter and a voltage-controlled oscillator(VCO) 32, and is simultaneously given to a deflection correction circuit 22. The output of the loop filter and the VCO 32 is given to a formatter 34 as the output of a write clock PLL circuit. That is, it is given to the formatter 34 as a write clock signal WCLK which is a reference for pit formation. Pit formation timing is also fluctuated so as to follow the fluctuation of the rotation of a spindle motor 14, and thereby, the pit position accuracy in the circumferential direction is improved. Furthermore, the Δtp which is a jitter component which the write clock PLL circuit can not follow is given to a deflection correction circuit 22, and then the fine adjustment of the deflection angle in the circumferential direction of an electron beam is performed through a deflector 23.

    • PURPOSE:To change the moving mode in coarse control quickly into a follow-up mode in fine control by measuring the average speed by forcibly setting the moving speed of a light spot only at the decelerating speed for a specified tracking period, and obtaining the quick changing speed by using the average speed and a deceleration correcting table for converting the average speed into the quick changing speed. CONSTITUTION:The moving speed of a light spot is forcibly set only at the deceleration speed (or acceleration speed) for a specified period from a position which is separated from a target track by a specified distance, and the average speed at this period is measured. The measured average speed and a converting table for deceleration speed (or acceleration speed) for converting the average speed into a quick changing speed are used, and the quick changing speed at the specified track position is obtained. In this way, the speed is forcibly set at, e.g. the deceleration speed, and the average speed is obtained during this period. Therefore, as the correcting table, the table only for the deceleration can be used, and the moving mode in coarse control can be quickly changed into the follow-up mode in fine control in a safe pattern.

    • PURPOSE:To widen the frequency range while maintaining the sensitivity by adding the outputs of both differentiating and integrating circuit for the output of a position sensor. CONSTITUTION:The differentiating circuit 1 which differentiates the position sensor output of the actuator and the integrating circuit 2 which integrates a current flowing through the actuator are provided independently and the outputs of both the circuits 1 and 2 are added by an adding circuit 3 to detect the speed of the actuator. Then the time constants T1 and T2 of the circuits 1 and 2 are equalized to each other as shown an equation, where Bl is the power constant of the actuator (B: magnetic flux density, l: the length of coil crossing magnetic flux), M the mass of a movable part, Ps the position sensor sensitivity, Kc current detection sensitivity, G1 the gain of the circuit 1, G2 the gain of the circuit 2, and H the addition gain ratio (the gain of the circuit 3 to the integration output/the gain 3 of the circuit 3 to the differentiation output). Thus, the frequency range can be widened without decreasing the circuit gains and accurate speed detection is enabled regardless of fast speed variation.
