CONSTITUTION:At the time of the compressing action of a magnetic head 12-1, a stopper shaft 20 constituting the stopper structure of an actuator arm 11 is pressed in the rocking direction by a receiving wall surface 19b, an elastic body lining 21 is bent and abutted (stopped) to the inner surface of a fitting hole 17a. Consequently, the shaft 20 can be always shifted only by constant dimensions delta correctly and without fail. Thus, the correct and secure compressing stroke of the necessary minimum limit of the magnetic head 12-1 corresponding to the shifting quantity delta of the shaft 20 can be always maintained and the compressing force can be correctly and easily set.

CONSTITUTION:A stopper space part 18 piercing a coupling part between a laminated arm 12 and a bobbin 13 in parallel with an axis (alpha) is provided. On the end face of the bobbin 13 positioning within the space part 18, a catching member 19 having a pair of catching wall planes 19a and 19b which face oppositely with each other at interval of a prescribed distance along with a rocking direction, and the regulate angle of rocking, is arranged and fixed. A stopper haft 20 is arranged between the catching wall planes 19a and 19b of the catching member 19 in parallel with the rocking axis (alpha), and besides, both ends of the shaft are fixed at a device frame 22 side. In this way, an actuator 11 rocks and rotates in arrow heads E and F directions, and the angle of rocking of the shaft is regulated by catching and stopping of the wall planes 19a and 19b with the stopper shaft 20. In such a way, the stopper mechanism for a rocking type actuator 11 is provided at the bobbin 13 side.

On the other hand, the speed signal and the clock of a reference oscillator 8 are inputted to an ON/OFF generator 9, thereby turning ON or OFF a time constant circuit having resistors R1, R2, and a condenser C1, the output is inputted together with the detected current value to a comparator 7, thereby generating a reference voltage for clamping the drive current. Accordingly, since the current gradually rises at the starting time, the power consumed by the transistor 5 can be alleviated, and the current can be averaged at the normally rotating time, thereby reducing the variation in the rotation.

Consequently, the restricting member 1' rotates counterclockwise together with the mold member 7 and the step of the restricting member 1' comes out of the structure 9 of the magnetic head to release the restrained state. Consequently, the restricting member 1' is driven with the extremely small exciting current to release the head from being restrained, and the size is reducible.

For the block 22 for the holding, the material having the approximately same thermal expansion coefficient as the frame 17 is used. Thus, the off-track due to the temperature of the actuator can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To avoid a deformation due to temperature stress by fixing one end of the joint of the housing of a carriage holding part and a magnetic circuit for swinging an oscillating shaft and bringing the other end contact through a roll. CONSTITUTION:A housing 13 fixes an arm 2 having a magnetic head 1 disposed opposite to a circular plate 11 to an oscillating shaft 12, and a magnetic circuit 14 swings said shaft 12. One end of a joint between the shaft 12 and circuit 14 is fixed, while the other end is fixed with a screw 17 and a keep plate 16 through a roll 15. The change in the vertical direction of the housing, which is caused by the difference between materials of the housing 13 and the magnetic circuit 14 and that between coefficients of linear expansion, arises along the roll 15, whereby the temperature stress will not occur in the housing 13 by less friction. Moreover, the bottom of the housing 13 holds the fixed contact surface of the magnetic circuit 14, while the top comes contact with the magnetic circuit 14 in the longitudinal direction of the roll 15, and both the housing 13 and said circuit 14 are formed in one body; therefore the titled actuator has the rigidity and its resonance frequency drops hardly. Thus the structure that the temperature stress will not occur at the joint of both of them can be obtained.
