摘要： PURPOSE:To easily perform a highly reliable operation in a short time and, at the same time, to improve the efficiency by inserting data accumulated in the storage means of a portable type data input device into the data input device to input by optical coupling. CONSTITUTION:An operator inputs data by operating the keyboard (KB) 13 of an input device 1 and stores them in a storage section 11. When the input device 1 is inserted into the inserting port of a selling machine thereafter, an LED 15b and power receiving section 16 are set to locations corresponding to a photoreceptor transistor 21b and power transmitting section 21c, respectively. The optical signal is inputted into a receiving circuit 21a through the photoreceptor transistor 21b and becomes the receiving data in the selling machine after it is amplified. When this input device is applied to the selling machine of horse racing and bicycle racing, tickets can be sold quickly, because a large quantity of data can be inputted in a short time.
