    • PURPOSE:To enable control of expansion and contraction of an arm from a ground sourface, by a method wherein cam bodies are rotatably and elevatably mounted to both ends of an arm hlding landslide protection panels therebetween, and a cam shaft is eccentrically mounted to the cam bodies, and the two cam bodies and the shaft are rotated from a ground surface. CONSTITUTION:A landslide protection panel 3 on the one side of an excavated trench and a landslide protection panel 4 on the other side are held at a specified distance by means of 4 expandable arms 5 on both sides, and base terminal parts 9 are forward and backward movalby mounted to both ends of the arm 5. A cam body 10 is rotatably and elevatably engaged with the base terminalpart 9. Meanwhile, a cam shaft 11 is integrally mounted in the eccentric position of the cam body 10. A kcontrol rod 12 is inserted into the cam body 10 and a control rod 13 into the cam shadft 11, and the rods are rotated to expand and contract the arm 5. This enables easy control of expansion and contraction of an arm from a ground surface.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of tracking in the vicinity of the connecting section of a lead wire at a cylindrical high-voltage cut-out. SOLUTION: A protective cover 21, made of an insulating material, comprises a lead wire fitting part 22 which has an inserting hole 22a brought into close contact with an outer periphery of a lead wire 3, a stress cone fitting part 23 which has a cone-shaped hole 23a brought into close contact with an outer periphery of a stress cone 16, and an umbrella part 24 which covers part of a cut-out body 17 of the cylindrical high-voltage cut-out, and is formed into a rough funnel shape. The protective cover 21 is attached to the vicinity of a lead wire connecting part 15 at the cylindrical high-voltage cut-out (outdoor on-pole distribution apparatus). Adhesion of salt, dust, smoke or the like to the outer periphery of the vicinity of the lead wire connecting part 15, rainwater, concentrated electric field can be prevented. Partial discharge on the surface of the lead wire connecting part can be restrained, prevent insulation degradation and erosion in the vicinity of the lead wire connecting part, thereby preventing generation of tracking and burnout accidents of the insulating material in the vicinity of the lead wire connecting part.
