摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a compact device which is placed on the upper portion of a small tank and can be inserted into a small upper opening and easily observe the whole inner surface of the tank. CONSTITUTION:A device for observing the inside of an LNG tank includes a fiberscope portion 12 having an image fiber 2 and a lightguide fiber 6, a mirror head portion 10 provided at an end of the fiberscope portion to transfer a side image to the image fiber, a TV camera 14 connected to one end of the image fiber, an illumination light source 15 connected to one end of the lightguide fiber, a holddown member 21 to which the TV camera 14 or the like is secured, and a winding drum 22 freely rotatably mounted to the holddown member to wind the fiberscope portion to the outer periphery thereof.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent invasive dangerous gas from being released or invading an armor by providing a purge mechanism which causes a purge gas to flow toward an objective portion from near an eyepiece portion. CONSTITUTION:An objective lens 4a for focusing an image onto an image fiber 1 is provided at an end of a fiberscope A to form an objective portion 4. The other end of the fiberscope A serves as an eyepiece portion 5 where an eyepiece 5a is provided which is either used for visually observing the image transferred through the image fiber 1 or to which a TV camera is connected, and a lightguide fiber 2 is further extended through the eyepiece portion 6 and connected to an illumination light source 6. Packing 8 which blocks a flexible pipe 3 so that a purge gas introduced from an inlet 7 is fed only toward the objective portion is packed in the portion of the flexible pipe 3 near the eyepiece portion of the fiber scope. The purge gas (inert gas) is made to flow into the flexible pipe 3 from the inlet 7.

摘要： PURPOSE:To accurately and easily recognize an object moving in a cylinder by reading the individual data on the moving object via a roll which touches the moving object to decide the traveling direction of the object and also serves as an objective lens. CONSTITUTION:Three rolls 2 ... are rotatably attached onto the inner wall surface of a cylinder 1. The diameter of each roll 2 is decided so that the rotational circumferential surface of the roll 2 touches the outer surface of a columnar object 3 moving in the cylinder 1. At least one of three rolls 2 is made of a transparent glass, resin, or crystal, etc., so as to serve as an objective lens. The individual data 7 on the circumferential surface of the object 3 is irradiated with a reading laser beam through an observing window of the cylinder 1 and via the roll 2. Then, the reflected light of the object 3 is read by an image pickup device 6 through the roll 2 and an image forming lens 5. In such a constitution, the data 7 on the object 3 can always be read with high accuracy.
