摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to grow a solid solution in a thermodynamically stable state, to enable to stably form the solid solution layer and the oxide superconductor layer by liquid phase epitaxy method, and to make the oxide superconductor of good quality grow with good yield. SOLUTION: An oxide middle layer 2 is formed on a base material 1 made of a metal with high melting point, and a seed film layer 3 having a structure same with the structure of the oxide superconductor which contains the element constituting the oxide middle layer, is formed on the oxide middle layer, and a solid solution layer 4 is formed by the liquid phase epitaxy method of the element constituting the oxide superconductor which contains the element constituting the oxide middle layer, on the seed film layer, and the oxide superconductor layer 5 is formed on the oxide superconductive solid solution layer.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconductor, in which an oxide superconducting layer of the required composition is generated by suppressing crystallization of unwanted compounds and a high critical current is shown, even when technology is used, in which the constituent element of the oxide intermediate layer is added in the molten liquid. SOLUTION: In this method, an oxide intermediate layer 2 is formed on the base material 1, made of a high melting point metal and a solid solution layer 4 having the same structure as that of the oxide superconductor substance, containing the oxide intermediate layer constituent element is formed on the oxide intermediate layer 2. Furthermore, an oxide superconducting layer 5, having peritectic temperature lower than that of the solid solution layer having the same structure as the oxide superconductor substance is formed on the solid solution layer 4 which has the same structure as that of the oxide superconductor substance.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a thick oxide superconductive layer at a large deposition rate by immersing and lifting a base material formed with two oxide intermediate layers on the surface of a high-melting point metal in a fused solution containing an oxide superconductive layer constituting element. SOLUTION: A base material 1 is a flexible tape with the thickness of 0.1-0.5 mm and made of a high-melting point metal with the melting point of 1000-2000 deg.C such as hastelloy. A first intermediate layer 2 is made of MgO or NiO, and it is hardly reacted with the base material 1 and a second intermediate layer 3 even at a high temperature of 980-1100 deg.C. The second intermediate layer 3 is made of BaZrO3, it has low reactivity with the first intermediate layer 2 and a fused solution of an oxide supercondutor, and its crystal structure is somewhat approximate to the oxide superconductor. The first intermediate layer 2 and the second intermediate layer 3 are formed at the thickness of about 1 μm by the CVD method. The master film 4 of the oxide superconductor must have has same composition as that of an oxide superconductive layer 5, and it is formed at the thickness of 0.01-1 μm by the laser deposition of Y1Ba2Cu3Oy, for example.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick film of tape-like oxide superconductor by a MOD(metal organic deposition) method using TFA(trifluoroacetate). SOLUTION: A mixed solution of TFA salts, which contains a prescribed molecular ratio of metal elements composing a RE-base oxide superconductor, is applied onto an IBAD composite substrate, calcine-processed to obtain a precursor, and the precursor is heated for crystallization to give a thick film of tape-like oxide superconductor. Several layers of the precursor are formed on the substrate, and by performing the calcination processing for except at least the most outer layer of the precursor within the temperature range of 250 to 350 deg.C, and the steam pertial pressure of an inducing gas in crystallization heat treatment atmosphere before crystallization of the most outer layer of the precursor within the range of 0.5 to 3.2 vol.% in order to easily obtain the thick film of a tape-like oxide superconductor.

SOLUTION: The bulk body of RE123 oxide superconductor that is represented by a general formula: REBa2Cu3Ox (RE is one or two or more kinds of rare earth elements) and has a 123 phase crystal structure is prepared by melting and coagulating method. In this preparation, raw materials (or their precursors) for the bulk body are held at a temperature higher than the decomposition and melting point of the 123 phase of REBa2Cu3Ox oxide to be prepared. Then, the molten product is cooled down below the crystallization temperature. By utilizing the time until the crystallization is initiated, seed crystals are brought into contact with the treated raw materials and they are kept at the crystal growth temperature or they are slowly cooled down along a temperature gradient, thereby obtaining the objective bulk body of RE123 oxide superconductor mainly comprising the RE123 phase from the seed crystals.

The half-melted state is attained by heating to 1,000-1,200 deg.C and the supercooling rate is carried out in the range of >0 deg.C to 100 deg.C.

The precursor is formed, rapidly heated to the temp. range where a 211 phase and a liq. phase coexist and then slowly cooled to grow the crystal.
