    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an air tight examining work for gas piping easy, by calculating the difference between the initial value of the gas pressure from a pressure chamber and the final value after the passage of a specific time, and determining the existence of the gas leakage on the basis of the result of the same. SOLUTION: A device comprises an element 6 having a pressure chamber 17, a digital manometer 11 having a semiconductor pressure sensor 26, and a three-way cock 2 having channels 10, 3, 5, 8. In the case when a new piping to which the gas has not been supplied, is examined, the pressed air of the specific pressure is included in the gas piping 1 to be examined, by a pump for pressurization 4. Then the three-way cock 2 is switched to make the pressed air in the gas piping 1 to be examine, act on the semiconductor pressure sensor 26. The digital manometer 11 stores this initial value, and the pressure of the pressed air after the passage of a specific time as the final value, calculates the difference between the initial value and the final value, and determines that the leakage does not exist when the difference between the final value and the initial value is within an extent of an allowable negative prescribed value, and the leakage exists when the difference is the negative value more than the prescribed value.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable confirmation of support strength of a piping, by fitting with the use of a simple attachment means a quake-sensitive sensor to an object to be supported, e.g. a gas meter or the like supported by the piping, receiving a signal from the quake-sensitive sensor and detecting whether or not vibrations applied to the piping exceed a predetermined criterion. SOLUTION: When a sensor unit 1 is to be used, a male connector 15 at one end of a signal line is connected to a female connector 28 of an apparatus case 2. In consequence of the connection, a second quake-sensitive sensor 21 in the case 2 is disconnected automatically from a vibration-detecting means, while a first quake-sensitive sensor 11 of the sensor unit 1 is automatically connected to the vibration-detecting means. Thereafter, the sensor unit 1 is set to a gas meter which is an object supported by a piping. In order to set the sensor unit, a sucker 13b at a rear face of a horizontal plate part 2b is used to suck and hold the sensor unit in a horizontal state to an upper face of the gas meter. A power source switch 24 of the case 2 is turned ON, thereby applying various vibrations to the piping. The vibrations are detected by the quake-sensitive sensor 11 and input to the quake-detecting means in the case 2.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent any accident from occurring due to misjudgment of an operator by installing a shutter airtightly opening or closing a neighboring space, a drilling means and a closing means of a drill hole in a body covering the vicinity of an outer wall part of an underground pipe as interchangeably airtight to the body, and making sure of judgment for service and dormant states. CONSTITUTION:After drilling a pit, a saddle 3 is set up on a outer wall part 2 of an exposed underground pipe 1, and a body 4 is installed on top of the saddle 3 with a chain 16 and clamping means 18, 19. A drilling means 5 is airtightly attached to this body 4 free of detachment, while there is provided with a shutter plate 11 airtightly closing a space 12 in and around the outer wall part 2, and drill holes and internal threads are installed by this drilling means 5, thereby judging service and dormant states of the underground pipe 1 with a pressure gauge 8. Afterward, the holes are closed by the shutter plate 11, removing the drilling means 5, and a closing means closing the drill holes is attached thereto. Accordingly, judgment for the service and dormant states is accurately performed in a relatively easy manner and, what is more, any accident due to misjudgment of the operator is preventable.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute piping connecting work easily and effectively even by one person, by providing a hard resin-made holder main body having a header holding recessed part forcibly freely fitted and a gripping handle arranged to be outwardly projected on the holder main body under a condition that the piping connecting opening of a header is exposed to the outside. SOLUTION: A header holder 20 comprises a hard synthetic resin-made integrated molded article, and has a holder main body 21 and a gripping handle 25. A header holding recessed part 22 which is formed to be matched to the peripheral shape of a header 10 and to which the header 10 is freely stored under a condition that the piping connecting opening 13 side of the header 10 is exposed to the outside, is formed in the holder main body 21. The end side of this recessed part 22 is opened, and also a forcibly fitting part 23 is formed in a position near to the base end of the recessed part 22 so as to be matched to the nutlike part 12 of the header 10. The forcibly fitting part 23 is formed into an angular shape that the inner circumferential shape thereof is copied after the peripheral shape of the nutlike part 12, and the nutlike part 12 is tightly fitted to the forcibly fitting part 23 by the elastic repulsive force of a resin composing the holder 20.
