    • PURPOSE:To optimize the output voltage of a pulse width modulation inverter by supplying the output pulse of a photocoupler through an arithmetic amplifier, a multiplier and an adder to a pulse width modulating circuit, thereby correcting the variation in the input voltage. CONSTITUTION:When the voltage of the input smoothing condenser of an inverter is varied to increase to (1+epsilon)Ed, the average voltage value (e3ave) of the output pulse voltage e3 from a photocoupler becomes larger than the bias value e4 applied by a variable resistor VR in an operational amplifier OPA, and the amplifier OPA produces a negative output voltage e5. When the amplifier OPA is then controlled in its gain at its output voltage value e5 so that the voltage variation rate becomes a value corresponding to the epsilon, a multiplier MUL produces an output of the value corresponding to -epsilon.lambda. Accordingly, when the output of the multiplier MUL and the instruction voltage value e6 are inputted to an adder ADD to be added, the adder produces a value corresponding to (1-epsilon).lambda as an output signal e7, and the instruction voltage value of a pulse width modulating circuit PWMC can be adequately corrected.
