摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a proper transport demand for each time zone and each running division when a train diagram is disturbed and generate a proper operation arrangement plan based on the calculated transport demand.
SOLUTION: The passenger demand is calculated including the people who are stagnating in the station till resumption of the train operation and the people who are left owing to the situation not able to get on, on the area-to-area basis prescribed by the time zone and running division (departing and arriving stations). Then on the prediction diagram, the number of departing trains is determined for each area, to judge the area in which a shortage of the transporting power is anticipated, and an operation arrangement plan to increase the transporting power of this area is prepared. The train able to complete transporting the people stagnating in the station till resumption of the train operation or the people left out of getting-on is specified by calculating the passenger demand, and the operation arrangement is established which enables recovery from the delay upon securing the transporting power by reducing trains thereafter.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which, when a train timetable has been disrupted, permits a user to evaluate an appropriate transportation capacity based on a transportation demand and the train timetable such that the user can carry out the evaluation in an understandable manner and more appropriately.
SOLUTION: A railway section (starting station and arrival station) is plotted on the vertical axis of the timetable, while a time zone is plotted on the horizontal axis. The timetable is divided into numerous areas by plural stations and given time zones. For each area, the transportation capacity is evaluated from the transportation demand and the number of trains. Display is provided using colors according to the evaluations such that the background of each area is given a separate color. Thus, the timetable is displayed in an understandable manner. Furthermore, each of plural evaluation items is displayed in terms of a cobweb chart 2201.
