摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change control device to set an optimum change gear ratio satisfying a car speed suited for a road state, such as a curve curvature radius of a road which the vehicle enters, set a change gear ratio by causing an optimum change gear ratio to reflect the will of a driver, be actuated according to the will of the driver, and increase precision and reduce the generation of a feeling of a physical disorder. SOLUTION: When a curve road is recognized in front in a vehicle running direction through road information of a navigation device, from the road information, a recommended car speed suited for a road state, such as the curve curvature radius of the specified point of a road which a vehicle is about to enter, is calculated. Further, deceleration necessary to satisfy the recommended car speed is calculated based on a present car speed and a distance from a present vehicle position to a specified point, and a change gear ratio optimum to obtain necessary deceleration is calculated. When, with this state, a driver effects deceleration operation, corner entrance control is worked. The optimum change gear ratio is corrected by deceleration operation reflecting the deceleration will of a driver to set a change gear ratio. An automatic continuously variable transmission is controlled so that the change gear ratio is adjusted to the set value.
