摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising seedling and culturing method enabling the fixed plating without taking the seedling out of a raising seedling tray, and accordingly, preventing the damage on the root of the seedling and resulting in uniform root taking period and growth of the planted seedling, and provide a connected plug to be used in the above method. SOLUTION: The connected plug is composed of a plurality of raising seedling vessels each having an opened top and a bottom opened to a size sufficient for the downward extension of the root of the leaf vegetables. The vessels are connected with each other in an inseparable state in a row and each vessel is filled with coarse-grained soil composed of particles having porous surface. The seed of leaf vegetable is sowed on the connected plug, the surface of the soil is covered with soil and the seedling is grown in the vessel. At a storage to enable the fixed planting of the grown seedling of the leaf vegetable, the connected plug holding the seedling is planted in a culture bed holding a culture medium composed of coarse-grained soil. The medium is pumice particles having a diameter of 1-5.6 mm.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation method capable of enabling the cultivation by close planting of perennial field crops requiring the cultivation of a parent plant for a long period regardless of soil characteristics of a region and without diffusing injury by continuous cropping, and disease. SOLUTION: This method for cultivating perennial field crops is characterized in that the perennial field crops are separately transplanted in a divided vessel filled with coarse soil comprising volcanic pumice and having 1-5.6 mm particle diameter and porous surface. A culturing liquid is preferably fed by a drip gravity-feed irrigation method, and the perennial field crop is preferably pineapple. Preferably, the pH of the culturing liquid is regulated so as to be 4-8, and the divided vessel is arranged in a greenhouse. The divided vessel preferably has about 24 cm diameter and about 30 cm depth, is filled with about 7 liter pumice medium, and has a drainage hole in the side wall at the vicinity of the bottom.
