      SOLUTION: The vehicle mounted antenna device 1 is configured in such a way that a predetermined portion is bent so that the tip end 2c of an antenna element 2 may be substantially perpendicular to a ground plate 3, and a spacer 19 is provided for holding a distance between the tip end 2c of the antenna element 2 and the ground plate 3 constant. With this configuration, the vehicle mounted antenna device 1 can be realized capable of keeping antenna performance constant and excellent in mass productivity while having a structure in which an element length can be shortened to miniaturize the entire device.
