    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device for a vehicle allowing formation of a proper communication area, even when a bar antenna is disposed in a door mirror.
      SOLUTION: In this antenna device, the bar antenna 13 is disposed in the door mirror 10 rotatably supported by a mirror bracket 9 provided integrally with a body part 7a of a door 7 of a driver's seat to rotate between a using position and a storing position, and a request signal is transmitted to the communication area set around the door 7 of the driver's seat through the bar antenna 13. In this case, when an antenna axis m is made parallel to a horizontal direction and the door mirror 10 is located at the using position and the storing position and between both of the positions, the bar antenna 13 is disposed so that a region held by pillars 2a and 2b may not be located on an axis of the antenna axis m.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-axial antenna chip that can be of reduced size. SOLUTION: The multi-axial antenna chip mounted on a circuit board includes two core pieces 72 and 72 made of magnetic substances, and an X-axis coil 73a and a Y-axis coil 73b, each coil being formed with an electric wire wound around the core piece. These two core pieces 72 and 72 are arranged substantially cross-shaped to construct an X-Y axis antenna. The X-Y axes antenna is accommodated in a casing 81, having a near cross-shaped accommodating concave portion 85, corresponding to the outer shape of the X-Y axes antenna. The casing 81 has a plurality of contacts 83 for the ends of electric wires extended out from the X-axis coil 73a and the Y-axis coil 73b to be connected to the circuit board, with each contact being insert-molded therein locating between two adjacent arm portions in the X-Y axis antenna.
