    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing hydrogen-containing gas whereby the hydrogen-containing gas can be produced at a lower temperature.
      SOLUTION: The hydrogen-containing gas is produced by performing plasma discharge in a moisture-containing atmosphere and spraying a hydrocarbon to a reforming catalyst to release hydrogen from the hydrocarbon. For producing the hydrogen-containing gas, the apparatus comprises a reactor having a reaction part 2 having an insulator 20, a discharge electrode 21 which is installed on one surface 201 of the insulator 20, filled with the reforming catalyst and connected to an alternator 230 and a heating electrode 22 which is installed on the other surface 202 of the insulator 20 and a spraying device which sprays the hydrocarbon to the reaction part 2. The discharge electrode 21 is preferably made of aluminum having an oxidized porous oxide film formed on its outside surface.

With the electric discharge, the diesel engine oil as the hydrocarbon base material is decomposed to produce methane or ethylene as low-grade hydrocarbon. Thus, since the magnetron is used instead of the electrode to easily create electric discharge in the neighboring portion between the diesel engine oil and the activated carbon, barium titanate or tungsten, the low-grade hydrocarbon is efficiently prepared from the hydrocarbon base material while restricting electric energy.

The first valve body 10 is provided with an upper seat portion 32a seated on the upstream side of the first injection hole 7, a lower seat portion 32b seated on the downstream side, and an R-shaped groove 35 formed by taking the seat portions 32a, 32b as base points, thereby to constitute a two-point sealing structure. The outer circumferential portion of the valve part is independently mounted with a seal lip portion 37 equipped with an elastic deformation portion by processing a countersunk groove. When the first valve body 10 is seated on the valve seat 22, the upper seat portion 32a is seated in advance, then, the lower seat portion 32b is seated by elastic deformation in the elastic deformation portion.
