    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for supporting drive, which can superpose and display, on an image obtained by imaging surroundings of a vehicle, a guide line allowing a driver to easily recognize the track of the vehicle in the running direction of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The device for supporting drive includes: imaging parts (2a-2c) for acquiring images obtained by shooting structures around a vehicle by shooting the surroundings of the vehicle (10); a guide drawing part (433) for estimating the track in the running direction of the vehicle (10) to set a guide line having a predetermined width along the track on an actual coordinate system for showing the positions of structures around the vehicle on a real space, and drawing the guide line on the image by projecting the guide line provided on the actual coordinate system on an image coordinate system for showing the positions of the structures around the vehicle on the image in accordance with the mounting positions and imaging directions of the imaging parts (2a-2c) with respect to the vehicle (10); an image synthesis part (434) for creating a synthetic image with the drawn guide line superposed on the image; and a display part (3) for displaying the synthetic image.
