    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a hardener 4a to a pregrout layer 2 mainly when a PC steel wire 1 is tense and to start hardening of the pregrout layer 2 at desired time.SOLUTION: A pregrouted PC steel material 10 includes a PC steel wire 1, a pregrout layer 2 disposed so as to store the PC steel wire 1 on the outer periphery of the PC steel wire 1, and a sheath 3 covering the outer periphery of the pregrout layer 2. Inside the pregrout layer 2, a capsule 4 for which the grout hardener 4a is wrapped with a coating film 4b is mixed. The coating film 4b of the capsule 4 has such strength that it is destroyed first by the tension of the PC steel wire 1. The pregrouted PC steel material 10 is buried in concrete, the capsule coating film 4b is destroyed by tensioning force when tensing/fixing the PC steel wire 1, and the hardener 4a in it is made to flow out inside the pregrout layer 2 and hardened. Since the hardener starts to flow out to the grout layer and hardening advances from the time of the tension/fixation, an immediately effective hardener can be used, and a construction period can be shortened.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement accuracy at the start of measurement in a tension measuring method that utilizes stress magnetic effect.
      SOLUTION: Before starting measurement of the tension of a magnetic body, a process for applying a load of the upper limit of a working load region or more on the magnetic body under a magnetic field within its saturated asymptotic magnetization range is performed once or more number of times to make its magnetization state close to an ideal magnetization curve. An irreversible magnetization change which can be the principal cause of a measurement error at the start of measurement is prevented from occurring, thereby performing tension measurement accurately from the start of measurement.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace a diagonal cable damaged due to some factors after the construction of a bridge in saddle structure for the bridge of single pipe structure.
      SOLUTION: A plurality of PC steel members 20 constituting a "diagonal cable" to be replaced are cut outside both ends of a saddle steel pipe 10 (a diagonal cable cutting process). Outlet part spacers 33 or the like disposed at both ends (straight pipe shaped steel pipes 12) of the saddle steel pipe 10 are removed (a cut-off structure part removal process). Grout 30 locked in contact with the tapered inner peripheral surface of the straight pipe shaped steel pipe 12 is bored to form an elongate hole H (a grout boring process). A state of hardly obtaining a locking effect of the grout 30 by the tapered shape of the straight pipe shaped steel pipe 12 can be acquired by the grout boring process. One or both ends of the plurality of PC steel members 20 constituting the "diagonal cable" to be replaced are strained one by one by a straining jack or the like (a diagonal cable straining process).
