摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe for a pipe roof, which enables the two steel pipes to be connected together at an optional spacing, which enables a reduction in construction cost and the shortening of a construction period by virtue of a reduction in the number of steel pipes for construction, which increases an opening area of a cutting edge for performing a drilling operation by a leading end of the steel pipe in a steel pipe push in operation, because a horizontal member for connecting the two steel pipes together is located in the outer-shape height position of the steel pipe, and which can bring about a high degree of accuracy in pipe jacking construction by virtue of proper workability, upper and lower surfaces with many horizontal places, proper planarity, the hardly loosening the surrounding soil, and high rectilinearity.
SOLUTION: This steel pipe for the pipe roof is used for a pipe roof construction method in which the steel pipes are juxtaposed and inserted into natural ground. The two juxtaposed cylindrical steel pipes 1 and 1 are connected in the upper and lower outer-shape height positions of the steel pipes 1 and 1 on opposed inward surface sides 1a by means of horizontal plate bodies 2 and 2; a vertical partition plate 3 is arranged between the upper and lower horizontal plate bodies 2 and 2 in an intermediate portion between the steel pipes 1 and 1; and a male joint 4 or a female joint 5, which is composed of H-shaped steel, is provided on the outward surface sides 1b of the steel pipes 1 and 1 by connecting edges of flanges of them.
