    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte with which a lithium ion secondary battery excellent in storage characteristics at high temperatures and high voltage cycle characteristics, or the like can be obtained.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte contains: a fluorine-containing ether represented by general formula (1) Rf-O-Rf; a compound (α) represented by (I), (II), where (I) is a fluorine-containing unsaturated compound and (II) is a hydroxyl group-containing compound represented by general formula (2) RfOH; and at least one compound (β) selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by general formula (3) HO(CHCH)nOH, a compound represented by general formula (4) HO(CHCHCH)nOH, a compound represented by general formula (5) HO(CHFCH)nOH, CHOH, and CHCHOH. The content of the compound (α) relative to the fluorine-containing ether (A) is 5,000 ppm or less, and the content of the compound (β) relative to a cyclic carbonate (B) or a chain carbonate (C) is 50 ppm or less.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer apparatus performing safe and efficient heat transfer by using a heat transfer fluid which is chemically inactive and has low toxicity, high safety, good environmental characteristics (for example, low global warming potential), good heat transfer capabilities over a wide range of temperature and predictable properties, and also high withstand voltage.
