CONSTITUTION:When the centrifugal force of a flyweight 11 overwhelms the springy force of a governor spring 9, exceeding a certain number of revolution, the flyweight 11 shifts along a sliding guide part 6b, and a servovalve 7 shifts leftward along a power piston part 4a. Then, the communication between a control hole 70 and an engine oil feeding hole 40 is cut off, and at the same time, a drain hole 41 allows a power piston chamber 5g and a cut part 51 to communicates and the pressure acting onto a slide pulley 4 lowers, and the slide pulley 4 receives a leftward pressing force by a belt tension and shifts to the position where the drain hole 41 is closed again. Therefore, the pulley diameter on a trailing shaft side is continuously varied to a prescribed speed change ratio, and an auxiliary engine is driven at a decelerated number of revolution, for the high speed revolution on the engine side.

    • PURPOSE:To easily and accurately adjust the gap width between a cog provided to the outer periphery of a body of rotation and the detection end of a sensor by placing the cog and sensor detection end opposite each other and adjusting the gap width so that the electrostatic capacity value between the body is specific. CONSTITUTION:Plural cogs 21...2n are arranged on the outer peripheral surface of a pulser 2 and fixed on an output shaft 4. The magnetic sensor 3 is constituted by incorporating, for example, a Hall element is cylindrical case 5 made a nonmagnetic conductive material and the case 5 is inserted threadably into a frame 7 fixed on an internal combustion ending side and fixed with a lock nut 10. An electrostatic capacity meter 21 is connected between the pulser 2 and case 5 and one cog is put opposite the detection end 6 of the case 5 to measure the electrostatic capacity between the both. The electrostatic capacity and the gap width between the both are in inverse proportion to each other, so one is found from the other. When the gap width is set to a specific value, the case 5 is rotated until a specific value is read on the capacity meter 21, and then fixed at the position with the nut 10. Thus, anybody can easily adjust the gap width.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a good speed change characteristic to be provided, and to shorten the axial directional dimension to miniaturize the title device by forming inlet and outlet ports for controlling the flowing-in or flowing-out of operating oil into or from a power piston chamber, in a servo valve, and by making the same valve oscillatable on the shaft of the power piston by the action of a flyweight. CONSTITUTION:A servo valve 7 is oscillated on the shaft of a power piston 4a in response to rotation of a driving shaft 1 by means of a flyweight provided on a guide holder 5 side. Since plural pairs of inlet and outlet ports are arranged in the servo valve 7 and the power piston 4a so as to penetrate the respective wall thicknesses, the flow of operating oil to a power piston chamber 5f is controlled by superposing or separating these plural pairs of inlet and outlet ports to cause the power piston 4a and a slide sleeve 4 to follow up and displace in the axial direction. Thus, a prescribed speed change characteristic can be obtained, and since the servo valve 7 only oscillates in a fixed position and is not displaced in the axial direction, the axial directional dimension can be shortened, so that the device can be miniaturized.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a driven side speed in a fixed value by building a flywheel and its associated hydraulic servo mechanism in the inside of a drive side pulley further integrally forming a slide pulley of the drive side pulley with a power piston. CONSTITUTION:When an engine rotates, a slide pulley 4 synchronously rotates with a drive shaft 1, and a flyweight 11 generates thrust by centrifugal force, pressing a pressing piece 7a in the axial direction. Exceeding a certain fixed speed, when the centrifugal force of the flyweight 11 overcomes tension of a governor spring 9, a servo valve 7 curves along an inner cylinder part 4a of the slide pulley 4 moving in the direction of a rigid pulley 3. Thus allowing engine oil in a power piston chamber 5g to flow out causing a pressure, acting on the slide pulley 4, to decrease, the slide pulley 4 follows up to the servo valve 7, moving to a position where a drain hole 41 is closed by the internal peripheral surface in the end part of the servo valve. In this way, a pulley diameter in a driven shaft side can be continuously changed to the predetermined speed change ratio.

On the other hand, at time of driving on a level road, the electromagnetic part 9b is energized, the spool 9a is moved downward, leading a pump port Ps to a cylinder discharge port 150, and discharge oil is made to flow into the radial hole 86 of the maximum tilting angle selector mechanism 8 from a cylinder port 9A, and then the piston 8b is moved upward, whereby the control plunger 6 is also moved upward, thus a swash plate 2 is displaced so as to cause its maximum tilting angle to become smaller. Thus, efficient control is performable.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of the captioned equipment, by detecting the right-and-left deviation of a plunger and controlling the discharge of a booster pump in correspondence to the amount of deviation thus detected. CONSTITUTION:Discharge pipe passages 39 and 40 for high pressure pumps 35 and 36 are connected to primary liquid chambers 9 and 10 of a booster 1, while displacement sensors 33 and 34, which detect the deviation of a plunger 6, are installed to a large-diameter cylinder part 3. According to the outputs from these displacement sensors 33 and 34, the discharge of either one of the high pressure pumps 35 and 36 is increased, while the discharge of the rest of the high pressure pumps 35 and 36 is decreased. With this contrivance, when the position of the plunger 6 is deviated toward the right or left side from its mid-position because of fluctuation in the charge from both high pressure pumps 35 and 36, the deviation of the plunger 6 can be corrected. Therefore, an escape of the primary liquid from a stroke limiter of the booster 1 can be eliminated, thereby enhancing the efficiency.

CONSTITUTION:The high pressure producing apparatus is comprised of a tandem intensifier (pressure converter) 7 and a pair of high pressure pumps 4A, 4B for pressure feeding the high pressure primary liquid alternatively to respective primary liquid pressure chamber 8, 8'. Here a multi-plunger pump having the plungers 50-53 to be reciprocated by a cam shaft 31 rotated through a motor is employed for the high pressure pump 4A (4B) to couple the pressure chamber 40a to be defined with a barrel 40 and a plunger 50 directly with the flow path 10 while the pressure chambers 41a-43a to be defined with the barrels 41-43 and the plungers 51-53 with the flow path 10 through one-way valves 61-63. Respective plunger 50-53 is arranged to start lifting sequentially while lagging by predetermined angle.
