      SOLUTION: Switching reference refrigerating capability which becomes a threshold value for switching an engine driven time and a motor driven time when a vehicle is stopped is changed for a defrosting operation time, and a time other than the defrosting operation time. That is, switching reference refrigerating capability A at the defrosting operation time is made large than switching reference refrigerating capability B at a time other than the defrosting operation time. Thus, the operation rate for an electrically operated motor 5 is made larger than the operation rate of the engine 1. Therefore, a frequency for driving a compressor 6 by the engine 1 can be reduced, and fuel consumption can be improved. At the same time, a starting frequency for the engine which is not expected by passengers can be reduced, and the deterioration of a riding feeling can be prevented.

When the air blowing amount of the air blower right before the engine is stopped is less than an intermediate air volume which is increased by a specified air volume from the minimum air volume of the air blower right before the vehicle is temporarily stopped, or when the engine is stopped, the control device increases the air blowing amount of the air blower to the intermediate air volume.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a scroll compressor while preventing the cracking and breakage of a joint portion (the root of a spiral wall) on the spiral center side and decreasing efficiency of the compressor. SOLUTION: The radius (r) of curvature of a joint portion 12a between a spiral wall 12 and a base 11 is made constant over the whole periphery in the spiral direction and an angular portion 12b of the spiral wall 12, corresponding to the, joint portion 12a, is formed in an approximately circular shape. Therefore, no recombination of an end mill is required over the whole periphery in the spiral direction and machining work is done by one end mill, resulting in a less number of manufacturing processes. As a rounded portion 12c is formed on the angular portion 12b, a gap δ formed between the angular portion 12b and the joint 12a can be smaller. The manufacturing cost can be reduced, accordingly, while preventing the cracking and breakage of the joint 12a on the spiral center side and the decreasing efficiency.
