    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a dynamo-electric machine for suppressing junction failure of a jointing part without reducing a sectional area of the jointing part of two wires to be connected.
      SOLUTION: The stator of a dynamo-electric machine includes a toroidal stator core 30 including a plurality of slots 31 circumferentially and stator winding 40 that is formed by connecting a plurality of wires 50 including a conductor 67 including a rectangular cross-sectional shape and an insulating cover 68 covering the periphery of the conductor 67 and is wound around the slot 31. The two mutually connected wires (V1-1), (V1-2) of the stator winding 40 include conductor exposure parts 67a mutually joined while the insulating cover 68 is separated and the conductor 67 is exposed at respective edges. The edge of the wire (V1-2) includes a folded part 67b at a part separated from a terminal by a prescribed distance, and the conductor exposure part 67a of the wire (V1-2) including the folded part 67b is provided to include the entire folded part 67b.

      SOLUTION: The stator of a dynamo-electric machine includes a toroidal stator core 30 including a plurality of slots 31 circumferentially and stator winding formed by connecting a plurality of conductors and wound around the slot. In the two mutually connected conductors (V1-1), (V1-2) of stator winding 40, an edge of one conductor (V1-1) drawn out of an inner peripheral side of a stator core of the slot 31 is joined to an edge of the other conductor (V1-2) drawn out of an outer peripheral side of the stator core of the slot 31 via a connection part 70 passing over a coil end face 42a of the stator winding 40 for connection. A jointing part 72 of the edges of the two conductors (V1-1), (V1-2) is positioned closer to an axial end face of the stator core 30 than the connection part 70.

In the pressing process, a segment conductor is set in a die 100. The die 100 has arc-shaped corners 100a for suppressing deformation in the corners 331h of the pressed portion 331g located in the direction opposite to the direction of pressing.
