    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a level of noise generated in initial engagement or sliding and engagement separation of an armature by sandwiching and compressing an annular body composed of an acoustic damping material between an armature disk and the web part of a hub assembly. SOLUTION: An armature assembly 38 has a hub assembly 40, an armature disk 42 and an elastomeric annular body 44 composed of an acoustic damping material arranged in a compressed state between the web part 56 of the hub assembly 40 and the disk 42. An impact noise is generated when the steel armature disk 42 is moved to be butted against a steel rotor. Noise is also generated in sliding and contact/separation of the armature disk 42. Such noise can be reduced by constituting the outer peripheral part of the armature assembly 38 as a restricting layer damping sandwiched body containing the acoustic damping material.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to cause looseness between teeth and a terminal pin without damaging winding and hurting a winding operation. SOLUTION: After connecting the winding 38 to the terminal pin 34 by a winder, a looseness providing member 43 is moved horizontally (left direction in the drawing) and placed on a track of the winding 38.
