    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet dealing with an acceleration of a thermal transfer printing speed by a sublimation thermal transfer recording method and having high recording sensitivity, sufficient printing density, high image clarity, various type durability of a recorded image, preservation stability and particularly excellent light resistance. SOLUTION: A styrene homopolymer is used for a receptive layer. As a plasticizer having excellent compatibility with resin and high plasticizing effect, a phosphoric acid ester compound or a phthalic acid ester compound is used. They are used to allow high color developing density and light resistance to be compatible. As a plasticizer having slightly lower compatibility than that of the previous plasticizer and less plasticizing effect than that of the previous plasticizer, an aliphatic dibasic acid ester compound is used, but this has an effect of alleviating its heat fusion bondability of the receptive layer resin to a dye layer resin. The plasticizer is used together to perform an effect of releasing assistant. When the two types or more of the plasticizers are used, aging bleeding-out of the plasticizer scarcely occurs, and it is an effective means to enhance preservability of an image receiving sheet.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer image receiving sheet, capable of forming an image having a high dye dying property through high-speed printing and provided with a sufficient separating property without being welded to a heat transfer sheet through thermal fusion upon forming the image. SOLUTION: A receptive layer is formed on at least one surface of a substrate sheet and at least phenoxy resin and more than one of plasticizers are contained in the receptive layer whereby recording sensitivity is improved nd an image, high in dying property, can be obtained through high-speed printing since the phenoxy resin is provided with a high compatibility with respect to the plasticizer. Further, at least one of parting agent is contained in the receptive layer whereby a heat transfer image receiving sheet will not adhere to the heat transfer sheet through thermal fusion welding upon forming the image. Further, a protective layer is transferred on an imaging part in order to improve the resistance to light and fingerprint of a printed matter while a parting agent is added so as to eliminated troubles in bonding to the protective layer whereby the printed matter, having excellent separating performance upon heat transferring through a heat transfer sheet and having no oozing due to the plasticizer, can be obtained.
