    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accumulate sufficient negative pressure on a brake booster by the time at which an operator operates a brake pedal.SOLUTION: Negative pressure generated on a downstream side of a throttle valve 32 in an intake passage 3 of an internal combustion engine, and negative pressure generated by an ejector 6 are supplied to a brake booster 5. When a stepping amount of an accelerator pedal is reduced by a predetermined amount or more per unit time, subsequent stepping of the brake pedal is expected. So, the ejector 6 is actuated before stepping operation of the brake pedal, or the negative pressure generated by the ejector 6 is increased.

      SOLUTION: Plate members 8, 9 are attached to the lid body 3 in parts in close proximity to vertical internal wall faces 2a, 2b extending in the vertical direction on an inner face of the gas-liquid separation chamber 2 among the labyrinth passage forming members so as to extend in the vertical direction in parallel with the vertical internal wall face or substantially in parallel. Extension parts 8a, 8b, 9a are provided at at least either of upper end and lower end of the plate member.
