    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable and inexpensive high pressure fuel pump having a flow rate regulating device. SOLUTION: This high pressure flow rate variable pump for an fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine is composed of the fuel injection system provided with an injector 5 controlled to inject high pressure fuel, and a pump mechanism in which a common rail mechanism is communicated to the injector and which is driven by reciprocating motion in a period of a suction stroke and a delivery stroke. Its flow rate is regulated by a regulation device 27 arranged on an intake pipe 10 and actuated during the suction stroke of the pump mechanism to regulate fuel supplied to the pump mechanism 18. A drain pipe is connected to a fuel tank, and the common rail mechanism is provided with an discharge solenoid valve 15 in communication with the drain pipe.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device and its manufacturing method for restraining cost. SOLUTION: This fuel injection device is composed of a hollow body for storing a throttle valve for injection, and the valve has a calibration pipe for discharging fuel from a control chamber. The calibration pipe is normally closed and held by a shutter controlled by an electromagnet composed of a magnetic core and an electric coil stored in an annular slot of the core. The coil has a cylindrical outside surface, and the outside surface forms a clearance surrounded by the fuel sent out of the calibration pipe together with the annular slot. The coil is particularly composed of a bobbin having a pair of branch parts for supporting a pair of plugs for supplying electricity of the coil. The plugs are included in a block of at least a partially nonmagnetic material. The bobbin has a substantially cylindrical rib and flanges parallel in two planes. One of the flanges is adjacent to an end part of the plugs, and the other has a small diameter for forming a flow passage for the fuel between the calibration pipe and the clearance.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injector which surmounts the disadvantage of a conventional fuel injector reliably and inexpensively.
      SOLUTION: The fuel injector for an internal combustion engine is provided with a nozzle equipped with a nebulizer for pressurized fuel, a needle moving in the axial direction to open and close the nebulizer at a first end, and a hollow jacket having a rod for controlling the needle. The rod is arranged almost coaxial with the needle, and engaged with the second end of the needle at the other end. The needle is usually pressed to the position to stop the nebulizer by the pressurized fuel acting on the rod supported by a compression spring. The compression spring acts on the needle via a sleeve engaged with a member of the rod in the axial direction. The sleeve has a surface engaged with an end of the needle. The compression spring is engaged with the other end of the sleeve to act on the needle.
