    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fat-soluble concentrate capable of remaining uncrystallized in various uses by controlling the crystallinity of sterols in a method for producing a concentrate of rice bran oil unsaponifiables. SOLUTION: The method for producing the unsaponifiables concentrate having controlled crystallinity and equivalent physiological activity is one wherein the alkali excess ratio is suppressed by allowing distillation to precede the deacidification for neutralizing the rice bran oil deodorized scum, and the concentrate of a low free sterol content and a fatty acid ester content is prepared by subjecting the scum to decoloration and/or deodorization without decreasing the content of unsaponifiables.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a poultry egg in which a cholesterol content can be reduced by simultaneously feeding tocotrienol changed in a readily ingestible state and a plant sterol to domestic fowls in order to solve the problem in which intake of rice bran is difficult, though tocotrienol capable of sufficiently contributing to human health abundantly exists in rice bran. SOLUTION: The poultry egg is obtained by feeding tocotrienol and a plant sterol-containing vegetable oil extract, particularly a rice bran extract as feed to poultry. As a result, in the poultry egg, a tocotrienol content is increased and the cholesterol content is reduced and a peroxide content in yolk is reduced, and the poultry has anti-oxidant action.
