    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of an electroluminescence emission board having long life and high emission luminance.
      SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of EL is that a transparent conducive film (hereafter, called ITO) is modified and an luminous element using activated zinc sulfide (ZnS) as a base is treated. The surface of the ITO is immersed in a mixed solution of ammonia aqueous solution and hydrogen peroxide water for several minutes for doping to modify the surface, a heat treated material of a first layer luminous element and the small amount of dielectric material are applied to the modified surface together with a binder, and vacuum defoaming treatment is conducted to completely disperse the luminous element into the binder and to adhere to the ITO.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane light source capable of reducing the number of components by arranging a frame body having a linear light source holding function and a linear light source reflecting function concurrently, capable of reducing the size and weight of construction and manufacturing cost, and simplifying a manufacturing process.
      SOLUTION: A back face frame 19 arranged at a lower side of a light guide plate 1 and outside of a linear lamp 6 has linear lamp 6 holding function concurrently with a light reflection function. The light emitted from the linear lamp 6 and the reflected light reflected by the back face frame 19 are guided into the light guide plate 1 from both side faces (light incident end faces) thereof, reflected at a lower face (reflection face) of the light guide plate 1 and the back face frame 19, and emitted from an upper face (light emitting face) of the light guide plate 1. It is unnecessary to arrange any specific reflection member, and therefore, the number of components is reduced. The back face frame 19, made of a material formed by mixing stainless steel fiber in polycarbonate resin, can disperse outward electromagnetic wave (noise) generated in accordance with the impression of high voltage on the linear lamp 6.
