The colorant comprises a specified colorant; the concentration of the colorant in the colorant dispersion liquid is 10 mass% or more and 25 mass% or less; and the colorant is dispersed in the colorant dispersion step by using a media dispersing machine that uses media particles having a number average particle diameter of 0.05 mm or more and 0.8 mm or less.
