      SOLUTION: In the probe carrier comprising the probe which specifically binds to the target substance and a carrier carrying the probe, the probe is coated with a coating material containing a nonvolatile water-soluble monomer and/or a nonvolatile water-soluble oligomer. It is preferable that the water-soluble monomer contained in the coating material is a tetrose; a pentose; a hexose; a heptose; or cyclitols in which a hydroxyl group may be protected by a protective group and n-saccharides (wherein, 2≤n≤10). The probe and the target substance are an oligonucleotide, a polynucleotide, a protein, or a sugar chain.
